We’re on the lookout for creative voices to join us for an unforgettable adventure in Mexico City and its natural surroundings! Apply to our Storytelling Contest by Aire Libre, Like the Wind Magazine, Ciele, and Chance Running for a chance to win a spot in our Mexico City & Surroundings Running Experience happening from March 14-17, 2025 — plus the opportunity to have your story featured in Like the Wind!

1. Write a One-Page Essay answering this question:
“Running Explorers: How does running help you connect with new locations?”
2. Submit your essay by February 16th, 2025 sending an email to andrea@airelibre.run with the subject line “Run Your Story – Your Name”

Our team of expert judges from Aire Libre, Like The Wind, and Ciele will evaluate submissions based on creativity, originality, and passion for running and storytelling.

Open to all passionate runners and storytellers, regardless of writing experience.
This contest is exclusively for the 2025 Mexico City experience from March 14 to 17 and is non-transferable to any other Aire Libre experience.
The prize includes $800 USD for travel expenses. Additional travel costs (flights, transportation, insurance) are the winner’s responsibility.
All essays will be checked for plagiarism and artificial intelligence-generated content. AI-generated entries will be disqualified.
Like the Wind will contact the winner to discuss the length of the article and details on the delivery and publication dates.
