Our journey commences on broad forest trails, gradually narrowing into winding single-track paths that lead us through ancient Caledonian pine forest. Along the way, we’ll be captivated by the enchanting beauty of An Lochan Uaine, fondly known as ‘The Green Lochan’. Here, nestled amidst nature, we pause for a scenic lunch break in a traditional Scottish bothy.

Our morning is dedicated to connecting with two remarkable women, Lynn and Sandra, who call the Cairngorms their home. They are the proud custodians of Lynbreck Croft, a place steeped in history and revered as a center for regenerative farming. With their unwavering commitment to sustainability, they have become pioneering figures in the field, fostering a harmonious ecosystem of animals and fostering a clear vision of nourishing the community in an environmentally responsible way. The croft itself is perched in an elevated position, providing us with captivating vistas of the majestic Cairngorm mountains.

Our morning activities conclude with a delicious lunch artfully prepared by a local chef, setting the stage for the next chapter of our day.

In the afternoon, we embark on a two-hour hike, commencing from the croft and traversing through Lynbreck’s tree planting scheme. This enchanting journey leads us to a lofty local summit, where panoramic views await.

As the day progresses into evening, we return to our sanctuary for a transformative session that includes breathwork, a revitalizing cold water immersion, and the soothing embrace of a sauna. This rejuvenating experience paves the way for relaxation and introspection during our free time.

We reconvene for yet another mouthwatering dinner, providing a moment to reflect on the day’s enriching experiences and to savor the camaraderie of our fellow travelers.

If the weather favors us, the summit offers unparalleled vistas, revealing some of the most breathtaking views Scotland has to offer.

As the sun dips below the horizon, we retreat to the cozy warmth of our lodge. Gathered around the crackling fire, we indulge in a hearty meal, savoring the flavors of the day’s accomplishments. Afterward, the evening unfolds with the enticing option of a whisky tasting session by the fire, enhancing our relaxation and camaraderie in this serene wilderness.
