Your Adventure Itinerary

We will arrive in Cusco and proceed with the check-in process at our hotel, where we can take some time to rest and unwind. In the afternoon, there will be optional visits to the vibrant downtown area of Cusco, along with guided walking.

After having some free time to explore the city, we will gather for a memorable Welcome Dinner Ceremony at one of Cusco’s most captivating restaurants.

Accommodation: Cusco Historic Downtown Hotel

Lunch & Dinner: included

This day begins with an early rise as we journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Along the way, we pause at the Machu Qolqa Inca Temple for a warm Andean welcome ceremony at the Ruin Site of Raqqchi. Here, we learn about Peruvian ceremonial traditions, seeking blessings from the “Mountain Gods” and Mother Earth, Pachamama, ensuring a safe passage through the Andean foothills.

Following the ceremony, we embark on an Inca Trail descent through the Chincheros Inca Trail and Ruin Site, a unique path leading to the basin of the Vilcanota River, once the primary entrance to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. In the afternoon, we engage in meditation and a stretching ceremony within the serene surroundings of Urqo’s prosperity temple, bathed in the golden hues of sunset.

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner: Included

Accommodation: Urubamba Country Lodge

Our day begins with a journey into the western part of the Sacred Valley. We ascend the Patacancha Valley to engage with local Quechua communities before setting out on a captivating hike from the Puma Marka Citadel Ruin Site. Descending through enchanting Inca Structures and Trails, we arrive at the only Inca City still bustling with modern life.

After the hike, we indulge in a delectable lunch at an art curator and food cafe in Ollantaytambo. Following this, we explore the intriguing Ruins of Ñaupa Iglesia—a portal cave of the Inca Empire, shrouded in energy and mystery.

In the afternoon, our cultural journey continues with visits to two breweries. One showcases the use of modern local ingredients, while the other offers a taste of the sacred Ancient Chicha Maize Brew, finely crafted and revered by the Incas.

Accommodation: Urubamba Country Lodge

Before the break of dawn, we gather near the town of Maras for a profound Sun Ceremony, a significant ritual in Inca Culture marking the winter and summer solstices. Receiving the first rays of sun from the Andes establishes a deep connection between the sun deity and eternity according to the Incas. Following this moving ceremony, we embark on a majestic 19 km hike, beginning with the magical Moray Inca Temple and Amphitheatre. The trail leads us to the picturesque Town of Maras, where we pause for a delightful brunch before continuing to the Ancient Pre-Inca Salt Mines of Salineras—an otherworldly experience in itself.

Afternoon brings a well-deserved rest, preparing us for an evening yoga and meditation session at sunset within the serene surroundings of the Huayna Qapac Inca Temple.

Accommodation: Urubamba Country Lodge

Embarking on a new direction in the Sacred Valley, we explore the enchanting microclimatic valley of Puma Huanca. At the valley’s bottom lies the majestic Chupani Beauty temple, where the Ñustas or Queens of the Sun once indulged in beauty therapies using the pristine water cascading from the Puma Huanca Glaciers. Here, we immerse ourselves in meditation and enjoy a picnic amidst the serene surroundings.

On our return journey, we partake in our own beauty and rejuvenation ritual by dipping into the refreshing waters of the Puma Huanca river, nestled in sandy pools that offer incredible healing properties.

Back at our accommodation, we engage in a Ceviche Ceremony, savoring the flavors of this iconic Peruvian dish, followed by a lively bonfire and Pollo a la Brasa Ceremony—two culinary delights representing the essence of modern Peruvian gastronomy. It’s a perfect conclusion to this memorable day.
