Ep.36
"The butterfly effect: running for environmental conservation"

With Anthony Battah

"We really really have to remind ourselves constantly that we can do crazy things and outstanding things, and what seems impossible is most often actually quite accessible if we put everything, you know, behind it. And that directly is applicable in my perspective with regards to the environmental issues. The feat is enormous, that steering wheel that you were talking about is so stiff and so big and everybody is pulling in all directions and it’s not an easy task to actually save ourselves from falling from that cliff, but… I’m convinced it’s possible. "

– Anthony Battah

Join us for a riveting conversation between Mau Diaz, co-founder of Aire Libre, and Anthony Battah, lawyer, devoted father, and newfound environmental activist.

Anthony shares the extraordinary tale of his epic journey, running from Canada to Mexico along the path of the Monarch butterfly migration. His mission? To raise awareness about the plight of this endangered species and spark a larger dialogue about environmental conservation.

Anthony’s passion and conviction shine through as he discusses his belief in our ability to avert environmental disaster and leave a sustainable legacy for future generations.
