Pace & Difficulty
All paces welcome* ⓘ
Our experiences are about discovery and connection, not speed. We tailor groups by pace, with guides and regrouping points, so no one is left behind. The longest run on this experience is 19 km. If you can comfortably run that distance at your own pace, you're well-prepared to join us.
However, the main challenge here isn't just the distance—it's the elevation gain. Throughout the experience, you'll tackle a total elevation gain of 3063 meters and reach a maximum altitude of 4,400 meters. Your body will face the demands of running at altitude and uphill, so some previous experience with hills or altitude will help you enjoy the journey fully.
Distance:
Ranging daily from 8 to 15km *Review daily distances on the itinerary.
Terrain: The terrain for trail running in Los Nevados National Park is varied. It traverses different ecosystems, from cloud forests to páramo and glacial zones at the highest elevations. The trails can be steep, rocky, and often extremely muddy and slippery, especially after rain. Some areas are described as swampy. Due to these conditions and the altitude, the run will be challenging, as we will be at an elevation of approximately 4,000 meters above sea level.
Elevation Gain/Loss: Please refer to the itinerary for the daily elevation information.
Group Size
16 People Max.* ⓘ
The experience will be confirmed once we reach the minimum of 6 participants.
The confirmation deadline is March 24th, 2026.

We acknowledge that our journey through Bogotá, Tolima, Los Nevados, and the Coffee Region takes place on the ancestral lands of the Muisca, Pijao, Quimbaya, and other Indigenous Andean peoples. These communities lived in deep relationship with the mountains, rivers, and páramos for millennia, cultivating traditions that continue to shape Colombia’s cultural and ecological richness today.
We honor the resilience of these peoples in the face of colonization and displacement, and we recognize the campesino families who now carry forward ancestral knowledge of farming, water protection, and mountain lifeways. As we run, hike, and share meals across páramos, valleys, and thermal waters, we commit to moving with humility, gratitude, and respect for these sacred lands and their living stewards.
