The Chichinautzin Biological Corridor is a vast and enigmatic natural refuge where the earth rises and twists into mountains that still whisper the echoes of ancient eruptions. Nestled between the frenetic Mexico City and the tranquil states of Morelos and the State of Mexico lies this hidden treasure, a silent guardian of 41 young volcanoes and an array of life pulsing with the vitality of 325 species of plants and animals.

Here, among the whispers of the wind and the murmurs of streams, runners Marisol Romero, Nadia Parra, Eder Belmont, and Mauricio Díaz run, challenging the heights and exploring a paradise seemingly frozen in time. They traverse a path stretching 82 kilometers, reaching nearly 4,000 meters above sea level, in an attempt to connect with the very essence of life.

But this sanctuary is not without peril. The land that once gave life now cries out for help. The Chichinautzin Biological Corridor teeters on the brink of oblivion, threatened by forces that seek to strip it of its essence.
